Join us to get an update on our progress, hear what we learned on a field trip to Portland and several cohousing communities there, and get a preview of the workshop series Aging Better Together. See the CALENDAR section for details.
Are you ready to create your own future?
Cohousing communities are intentional, collaborative neighborhoods created with a little ingenuity. They bring together the value of private homes with the benefits of more sustainable living. That means residents own their “own homes”. They actively participate in the design and operation of their communities, share common facilities, and good connections with neighbors. — Help us launch cohousing in Southern Nevada by building a strong network of understanding and support, person by person and community by community.
Let’s continue talking about cohousing and plans to create it in southern Nevada.

We’ll meet to share plans, progress, solicit input and answer questions about the cohousing community currently envisioned for the Las Vegas Valley. Join us!
Innovative. Sustainable. Home
We’re an enthusiastic core group seeking potential residents who want to build the very first cohousing community in Southern Nevada! In early stage of development, we’ve formed our legal entity, selected a site, and are reaching out to find others who want to join us in building this community. We envision a development of 28-36 independent, intentional homes close to shops, restaurants, parks, recreation, biking/hiking trails, and transportation.
Like other West Coast groups in the formation stage, we’ve been studying and inquiring, aiming to utilize and maximize the invaluable counsel and guidance of others who have done this before. We’re ready to move forward with like-minded individuals who want to live in the uniquely appealing mix that is Southern Nevada. We want the same commitment to healthy living, mutual respect and support, sustainability, collaboration, and the cultivation of community as all cohousing models, only we want to do it here in our invigorating and challenging urban desert climate. Whether you already live in Southern Nevada or are considering relocation, we welcome you to join us.
